Don’t Faint

Another new post! I thought that I would post one more new project for the weekend. I really hope I will get a few minutes tomorrow to stamp some. I need some therapy! This card is off but I didn’t have time yesterday to fix it before my wonderful group of ladies came for my stamp camp this month. I wanted a few Christmas samples to get everyone inspired! I started with a kraft cardbase stamped with the Print Pattern BG.
I then used the In the Spotlight hostess set to stamp the “snowflakes” in Encore Silver ink and punched them withthe circle 1 1/4″. I then punched Wild Wasabi and Real Red circles with the 1 3/8″ circle punch. I used the ribbon originals (jersey), Red gingham, and Double stitched wild wasabi ribbon and applied them with pop up glue dots. I used the Dashing DP and mounted that on wild wasabi and real red and paper pierced three rows on the bottom portion. I used red grosgrain ribbon and tied red gingham and lined thread with a chipboard star (colored with the silver encore pad) and three tags that say ” Joy, Christmas, and peace from the everyday flexible phrases set. Like I said, I am not happy with it but sometimes you just have to quit and move on! Have a great weekend everyone and I hope I have new stuff to share next week!
Happy Stamping,
Staci
Finally!

After not returning to my blog for sometime and feeling guilty enough each day to not look at any cards or visit my site I am back. Things seem to have become so hectic that the only time I get to stamp is to get ready for an event. I have not done a challenge in ages and miss it. I am going to share a few things over the next few days that I have done in recent events. Hope everyone is doing well, if anyone is still looking that is! This is a Shaker style Christmas card we did at my techniques class last month in Snohomish.
I used the Dashing DP on a River Rock Card base stamped with a snowflake from the Snowflake spot stamp set. I used the Snowflake Spot stamp set and embossed that in silver on Shimmer white Card stock. I used Real Red to make the frame for the snowflake and stamped that with the BG stamp from the Snowflake spot stamp set. I put glitter in the shaker part of the card. I also used the sentiment from the All Holidays stamp set and used the Key Tag punch to punch it out and make a “Shadow”. I put red rhinestone brads on each side of the sentiment. The ribbon I used is Wide Red organdy (retired) and double stitched River Rock. Thanks for looking! Here are the instructions from SCS on how to make a shaker card.
