This is a bad picture of my SIL’s wrapped birthday gift. I made the tag to match the bag. I had the bag in my stash and always thougt it was pretty. I will show you her gift later. Here is a close up of the tag:
I am sorry the pictures are not better. I hope I can get my camera fixed soon. I used a Chipbaord tag and covered it with real read on the front that was embossed in a maize (retired) embossing powder using Brocade Motifs. I paper pierced the bottom of the tag and added a strip of Wild Wasabi. I put polka dots on the tag using a pencil eraser and versamark. I used Temping Turquoise to make the flower and punched it with the five petal punch. I added a rhinestone brad from the pretties kit. I added a smaller tag stamped with the happy birthday in wild wasabi and backed that on purely pomegranate. I really did all match the bag IRL
My husband got offered a job in Seattle this week! It is bittersweet to leave Idaho. I will miss my friends and customers here. I am excited to be closer to my family and have customers there that will be happy to have me there. Alas, I will start packing right after Christmas. We are suppose to be there mid-January. I am still having my stamp camp on January 10th. As I told a friend, I have to keep my priorities straight…stamp!!! LOL. Alot to do which is a bit mind boggling but it will all get done somehow, can anyone say caffeine??

I made this little nugget box with the instructions here on SCS. Some wonderful lady made instructions for any size you could ever want! I used Real Red for my box. I used White Stazon for the Snow Flurries snowflake on the transparency sheet. I made a belly band in Old Olive and tied a piece of White taffeta ribbon on that. I wrapped my nuggets in Dashing and Old Olive DP and added a snowflurry accent. I am adding this to my package going to my BIL, SIL, and niece. They are not much of sweets eaters so it will be a perfect size! Have a happy day!

Here it the box without the top so you can see the nuggets better.

Here is a pic of my very simple gift tags this year. All I did was punch a large red tag with the punch. I stamped the initial of the recipient on white cardstock and punched that with the small tag punch. punched a wild wasabi little pieces and added that with a dimensional. Punched a hole in the top added a ribbon to tie it on with and done! Just thought I would share.
Ok, now for the winner….The winner is Janet B.! Email me your snail mail address at srl7698@hotmail.com and I will get you your prize in the mail!! Congrats! Thanks to all of you who leave comments on my posts. Sometimes I see the numbers go up on the counter but no comments so it gets a little discouraging. I don’t know that I will blog next year but we will just have to see what life holds before I make my decision. Hope you all have a great week! Only 8 days until Christmas!!

I have sent my Christmas cards but couldn’t help myself from making another one! We got a package from Ms. Brown from my husband’s brother and SIL. The tags on the packages are so cute that I had to take it off and make this card! I have no idea where she got them but I couldn’t let it go to waste. I just need someone to send it to now! I always need one more though so I am sure it will get used! I got my color combo from the tag. I started with a piece of bravo Burgundy. I stamped Merry Christmas all over the cardbase in Versamark but you can’t that in the photo (sorry). I used my corner rounder to make a scallop with Basic Black cardstock and adhered a piece of So Saffron DP to that. I changed the eyelet color in the tag from bright red?? to black. I tied a piece of Burgundy grosgrain through the eyelet. I adhered that to the card with dimensional. I stamped the be merry from the warm words set in bravo Burgundy and punched it out with the small oval punch. I punched a large oval in bravo Burgundy and adhered that on with dimensional as well. It needed something else to I found these little silver dots I had in my stash. They are self adhesive that was good. I hate it when you can see the back of hardware on the inside of the card! The final touch was to paper pierce the bottom of the card. Do you have you Christmas cards done and sent? I only got mine sent yesterday but what a relief that was! Now I need to start making my thank you notes for gifts and to my customers for their business this year! Have a good Friday!

Here is a hostess gift I gave to a friend when she hosted a workshop last month. We did a Christmas card, hence the Christmas themed bucket of goodies!
I got these cute little notebooks at Target (where else
I used my Anywhere glue stick to adhere the DP. I cut and scored real red cardstock for the top. I added a bit of ribbon, stamped metal edge tag and done! Quick and easy!
A cello bag of six tags for Christmas using the Perfect Presentation Hostess set. I have used that alot this year!
I put a real red bag topper with a piece of scalloped Dashing DP on it. I stamped three silver snowflakes on the bottom right corner and tied some ribbon. Here is a pic of the tags

Last but not least is an altered jumbo clip (two of these are in my blog candy-don’t forget to leave a comment in that post for a chance to win!)
I hope you like it and get some last minute gift ideas. This might be nice for a co-worker, postal worker, or teacher. Have a happy Monday!

What a good day..My son’s and I went and surprised my hubby (well we were going to surprise but I am not very good at that so I told my hubby when we were on the way) and took him to lunch. The boys came home and are napping well and I got a gift done. I will show that to you tomorrow as my camera is on the fritz right now. Here is a project that I revised from one of the last issues of Paper Crafts. This picture does not show all the detail that the swag has. I am sorry about that. I am going to have to get out my camera’s manual (after three years…LOL) and figure out how to use the thing properly! Here is what I used for this project:
Swag I got at Micheal’s, Chipboard Letters and holly wreaths from SU!, Perfect Presentation Hostess set, Real Red and Whisper White Cardstock, Old Olive DP, Metal edge tags, LOTS of Real Red buttons, Pop-Up glue dots, Ribbon, white thread (in the button holes), Paper piercer, Anywhere glue stick
