I did up this little coaster book for the farmers market before Father’s Day.  It is really simple (I know the grammar isn’t correct).  It has 10 pages inside to write notes, memories or put pictures in.  I used the big deal alpha set and the Treehouse DP.  It must not be great because I still have it… 🙂 Just thought I would share something since I did not get time to stamp today.  Have a great weekend!

My two little sweeties..

I just had to share a couple pics of my cuties.  I still need to get editing software but this is good for now.  This is Grant watering our new garden…luckily it has grown some in the past few weeks!  He has to wear his fireman cloths when he uses the hose!

This is Cody tonight when he got to eat spaghetti with his hands for the first time.  He thought it was great, but what a mess!  may-07-077.jpg

Stamp Camp Projects

I have been working today on my stamp camp projects for next week.  I can’t wait for the new catalogs!  I will be making 4 cards and a gift bag/large tag for my camps this month.  What fun!

Here is one of the projects..

This card has a Old Olive card base.  It uses the new Brocade DP in the upcoming Fall/Winter 2007 Catty.  I also layered a piece of chocolate chip in-between the DP layers.  I used the Warm Words set and the Oval punches for the sentiment.  Welcome is stamped on Very Vanilla and then mounted with a dimensional on River Rock.  I used a piece from the Hodgepodge Hardware kit and a wide piece of cream organdy ribbon to finish it off.  (The ribbon looks weird in the pic..)

Here is number two..

This is a layout I CASED from someone on SCS but didn’t keep a reference, sorry!  The card-base is Almost Amethyst.  I cut and paper pierced a piece of Whisper White as the first layer.  I used some DP from POP that I am assuming will be in the next catty for the left side.  I stamped the cute giraffe from the Wild About You set in Apricot Appeal.  I stamped the sentiment from the new word set Holidays & Wishes in Almost Amethyst.  I used celery, white and sweet shop ribbon to complete this card.

I will post the other projects as soon as I can get them done.  I am waiting for an order to come from SU! so I can complete them.  Nothing like cutting it as close as possible!!

Always a day late and a dollar short…

Here is the card I got to stamp the other night!  I used the new SU! set Baroque Motifs.  I love this set and can’t wait to play with it more!  The overall card size is 4.25 x 4.25.  The card-base is close to cocoa.  I used white craft ink for the background images on bashful blue and mounted that on whisper white.  I stamped the center image in bashful blue and cut that out.  I then layered it on close to cocoa and cut that out.  I stamped cherish in close to cocoa and sponged close to cocoa around the edges of the bashful blue.  I did faux stitching with the paper piercer and mat pack.  One of my next purchases will be All in A Row, can’t wait for that one!  I finished it off with the wide white organdy ribbon…which is on the retirement list along with everything else in the catty!  Hope you enjoy!  Bath-time is almost over then the boys go to bed and tonight I stamp…..YEAH!!!!

I finally got to stamp tonight!  Of course, I left my camera on so my battery is dead.  I will show you what I did tomorrow when I can get a picture!  I hope there are still some of you lovely ladies out there looking!  Have a great night!

Wow, sorry for the absence!

I have been trying to get some stuff done at the house so I haven’t been stamping much this week!  Here is what I did today for yesterday’s color challenge on SCS.  This was the first time I used my sewing machine on my cards.  It was kinda fun!  I used the soon to be gone Doodle This and the Much appreciated set from SU!  For my backgrounds I used the itty bitty BG set and Print Pattern.  I used some POP in celery, celery and purple ribbon  and  celery brads.all from SU! as well.  The color challenge was Elegant Eggplant, celery, and ruby red.  I used shimmer white for my main image.  To color in the image I used the Aqua painter and watercolor pencials.  I definatly need more practise!  For the bling in the flower center I used my liquid glue and micro beads.  What fun!

My thoughts are with my dad right now.  He is getting sinus surgery as I am typing this.  I wish I could be there with him but it just wasn’t the best to go.  He will recover much better without my two little guys running around their house.  I have to go and get dinner done!  Have a great week!

Scrapbook Sketch

Here is another sketch from SCS for your scrapbook pages!  Even if you only do one page a week that is one more than nothing!  I need to live by that rule too!  I will be back later to post some Father’s Day Cards I did yesterday!  Happy weekend!
