After not returning to my blog for sometime and feeling guilty enough each day to not look at any cards or visit my site I am back. Things seem to have become so hectic that the only time I get to stamp is to get ready for an event. I have not done a challenge in ages and miss it. I am going to share a few things over the next few days that I have done in recent events. Hope everyone is doing well, if anyone is still looking that is! This is a Shaker style Christmas card we did at my techniques class last month in Snohomish.
I used the Dashing DP on a River Rock Card base stamped with a snowflake from the Snowflake spot stamp set. I used the Snowflake Spot stamp set and embossed that in silver on Shimmer white Card stock. I used Real Red to make the frame for the snowflake and stamped that with the BG stamp from the Snowflake spot stamp set. I put glitter in the shaker part of the card. I also used the sentiment from the All Holidays stamp set and used the Key Tag punch to punch it out and make a “Shadow”. I put red rhinestone brads on each side of the sentiment. The ribbon I used is Wide Red organdy (retired) and double stitched River Rock. Thanks for looking! Here are the instructions from SCS on how to make a shaker card.
