Here for you

Do you have a need to do list that never quite gets done?  I do!  This has been on my list for two weeks..One of our friends lost a baby to miscarriage and I have been wanting to write her a card since the day I found out.  Today was one of those days that I decided to sit down for a minute and look and see what the challenges were on  pre=”on “>splitcoast stampers.  For the clean and simple challenge it was a sympathy card.  I knew that it was the push I needed.  I went to Beate’s WSC for last Friday and used her sketch (how when you have a sketch to go by does it still take me forever to do one card!).  I think this all came to pass for a reason.  As I sit here typing with tears in my eyes I vividly remember losing my baby two years ago today.  I don’t know that anyone who has never experienced it can even relate.  It is heart wrenching and forever changing.  I still think of our baby that we will met in heaven often.  Less than I did two years ago but I will never forget.  The Lord has blessed us with three wonderful boys here on earth that I am so truly grateful for even if I do let them watch too much tv some days!  Anyway, here is the card that I made for her.  On the inside I used the sentiment, Here for You from the Friends 24-7 set.  The main image is from the same set.  The designer paper is retired SU!. It is probably one of my favorite all time SU! papers.  I love the vintagy feel!  Hope that you count your blessings today!zCard Fronts 034

    Hi Staci,
Sounds like the time spent making your card was truly a healing catharsis for yourself … I’m sorry.
I’m glad I chose to make the “Praying For You” card at the stamp camp. My next door neighbor battling a rare, devastating cancer is back in the hospital. We stopped by to see him and gave him the card … much appreciated by both Mike and his wife, Jill.
Thank you for the wonderful projects you put together for your stampers.
    Love you.
