Black and White

Who doesn’t love all things black and white?  To name a few panda bears (my fav!), zebras, ok so not so much skunks…but hope you will like this card!  I participated in the Featured Stampers Challenge yesterday.  This is the cardI CASE’d.  x1-003

The picture isn’t great, sorry!  I used Baroque Motifs and embossed it in black on Shimmer White Cardstock.  I added the rhinestones from the Pretties Kit to parts of the image.  I Used Kiwi Kiss with the black and white to balance it.  The sentiment comes from Sweet Sampler.  Have a great day.  It is snowing here!

I did a challenge today!  I am so happy to be stamping again!  I should be doing housework though…If you would like to see the challenge on SCS click here. All of our friends seem to be having boys!  I love to make baby cards so that is what I choose to do today.  All supplies are Stampin’ UP! Have a great day!

I used crystal effects and a bashful blue re-inker for the ‘water’.  Not sure I like it but whats done is done!  What do you think??

This is one of my stamp camp projects from last Saturday.  The white card is the insert.  Hope you enjoy!

New camera!

I got a new toy!  My hubby bought me a Canon Rebel so I am having fun with it!  I did the inspiration challenge on SCS from yesterday and combined it with Beate’s WSC!  My inspiration from Room Service is the bedding here.  I haven’t done a challenge in a long time and I totally miss it!  Sometimes I forget to have fun in this adventure I am in!  Here is the card I didBeate's WSC70

I hope to be blogging more but with three little boys, a Stampin’ UP! business, and household things to do I am busy just like everyone else and won’t get to it everyday.  Thanks for understanding!  Have a great week!

If you have any questions about supplies please let me know!

I’m back

What better post to start with than a place setting for Thanksgiving!  Sorry for the long absence.  I could go into a long diatribe of why I have been gone but all I really need to say is new house, new baby and two little boys!  All is well here and life is starting to get back to a new normal!

This is a project was made for an upcoming workshop.  We will be making the place card and invitation (it could also just be a happy thanksgiving card).  I used the set Harvest Home and the Fall Harvest Wheel.  The colors are Kraft, Really Rust, Kiwi Kiss, Elegant Eggplant and Very Vanilla.  There is a piece of vellum on the Menu as well.  That is all for now as it is lunchtime and I have some hungry little guys!  Have a wonderful day!

Summer Fun Sketch Challenge

This is my attempt this week for the sketch challenge on SCS.  I don’t think I followed all the rules this time but had this idea and it would have looked funny to have an upside-down watermelon!  When I first saw this sketch I thought, wow, that is different.  That is why they are challenges though!  I started with a Kraft cardbase that is 9 1/4″ x 4.  I used some DP from the Summer Days Simply Scrappin’ Kit (thanks Mom!) in bashful blue.  I tied ribbon around the top of that layer and used a ribbon slider from the hardware kit in the Occasions mini.  To make my watermelons I used the Coluzzle cutting system.  I stamped the Weathered BG in Wild Wasabi on Wild Wasabi cardstock.  The inside of the watermelon is Rose Red DP.  I hand drew a few seeds (don’t look to closely).  For the main image I stamped and cut out the letters to spell summer from the Big Deal Alphabet.  I used Bashful Blue, Barley Banana, Rose Red, and Wild Wasabi.

I used dazzling diamond to glitter them up pretty! Some of the letters are popped up and some are not to add dimention.  The “fun” is from Everyday Flexible Phrases.  I used the oval punches and silver brads for that.  I think that’s it!  I hope you are having a happy day!
