Beate’s WSC28

This card is for Beate’s Weekend Sketch challenge here. 

I did this card and at first I hated it.  I started with the flower and my coloring was awful so I just keep adding layers and layers of color, clear embossing powder, glitter and finally a pearl center from the Pretties Kit.  I used every coloring medium that I owned almost..sigh. The picture does not really show all of the details that you see IRL.  It gets the point across though.  I need to work on my watercoloring skills but you have to start somewhere right?? Anyway, here is the supplies I used.  I am not going to go step by step because it would take forever…:)

Cardstock:Old Olive, Cameo Coral, Old Olive

Paper:Apple Cider DP (time is running out to get this!!)

Ink: Timber brown Stazon, Cameo Coral, More mustard, ruby red

Stamp Set: Time Well Spent (Level three hostess set from Spring/Summer 2008)

Accessories: Versamark Marker, Clear embossing powder, glitter, two way glue pen,, blender pen, markers, WW crayons, (are you laughing yet?). Pretties Kit, Old Olive Grosgrain ribbon, mini glue dots, pop up glue dots, corner rounder, paper piercer, word window punch, library clips (mini), sponge, Sewing machine and white thread

I got to see the NEW catalog preview today!  There is an adorable baby set, new gorgeous papers, rub-ons, and a bundle to get free ribbon for Valentine’s day!!  Can’t wait for everyone to see it!
